PSBB ALUMNI Meeting on Sunday, February 10, 2008, at the T.P.Road School

The PSBB Alumni Association meeting was reasonably well attended by about 110 Alumni, past & present teachers.

The Alumni had invited a few past teachers and were glad to have Ms.YGP, Ms.Susheela Raghavan, Ms.Malathy Gopalakrishnan, Mr.Ramachandran, Ms.Hamsa Ramdas and Ms.Pushpa Bala Jagam in their midst. The present teachers included the Heads of Schools, Academic Advisors and a few senior teaching staff.

Alumni from a cross section of batches, starting from as early as 1971 to as recent as 2007, attended the meeting.

The meeting was primarily to discuss the role of Alumni in the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the School.

A presentation was made on the activities of the Alumni Association in the last couple of years. A request was made to the alumni present to spread information about the activities of the Association and also to register in the site.

Most of the batches have group mails circulating amongst themselves. It would be a good idea if www.psbbalumni.net is linked to the group mail for easy facilitation of alumni registration.

An invitation was also made to the alumni present to act as “Catalysts” for their respective batches to enable more registrations of their batch mates in the Alumni website which may result in increased attendance in future Alumni meetings.
