YET ANOTHER FEATHER IN Mrs.YGP’S CAP !!

We are pleased to announce that our beloved Mrs.Y.G.Parthasarathy (Mrs.YGP) is being conferred with an International Award.

The CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE FOR EDUCATION (CEE) has recognized five global leaders in education in its twenty fifth year. Apart from 3 awardees from the United States of America, there are two international awardees, one of them being Mrs.YGP.

The Center for Excellence in Education was founded in 1983 by the late Admiral H.G. Rickover and Joann P. DiGennaro, President of the Center. The Center's mission is to nurture young scholars to careers of excellence and leadership in science, technology, engineering and math, and to encourage collaboration among leaders in the global community. “CEE has been a leading organization promoting US innovation, competition and international collaboration among the nation for 25 years” said Joann DiGennaro, CEE President.

While Mrs.YGP is a recipient of numerous awards and recognitions in her illustrious career, this international award adds greater lustre. The PSBB Alumni Association salutes this phenomenal educationalist on this momentous occasion.

The award function is slated for Saturday, September, 12, 2009, in Boston. The CEE has arranged a venue for PSBB Alumni to meet Mrs.YGP on Sunday, 13 September 2009, at the Coolidge Room, Boston Marriott Cambridge, MA., between 10.00am and 12.00 noon. A few of us from Chennai are travelling for this event. We urge fellow alumni, especially those in US, to join us on Sunday, September 13, 2009, to wish our Guru on this recognition.
