Dear Fellow alumni of PSBB,

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter.

For quite some time, the Alumni of the PSBB Schools have been meeting in small groups spread across a few batches. We believe that by activating the PSBB Schools website, a larger justice to an institution like PSBB will be fulfilled. The idea is to get the momentum going towards gathering a larger group of alumni.

I request all of you to establish contact with your fellow alumni and ask them to register themselves in our website, viz, psbbalumni.net. Over the last few years, we have supported many needy students (within PSBB and external) with financial assistance and also provided medical & other relief to some staff members of the school.

This being the Golden Jubilee Year of the School (founded in 1958), we hope to establish contact with a lot more alumni & take on more challenging projects. The School will be starting its Golden Jubilee celebration on February 21, 2008. His Excellency, the Governor of Tamil Nadu, Mr.S.S.Barnala will be the Chief guest. Other dignitaries would include Mr.David Hopper, Consul General of the United States of America, Dr.Ashok Gangulay, Chairman of the Central Board of Secondary Education and Mr.N.Ram, the Editor of "THE HINDU".

While the School is planning elaborate programs which will run right through 2008, the Alumni Association intends to conduct a series of interesting events.

We are inserting an advertisement in "THE HINDU" shortly inviting registrations to the Alumni Association. For a start, we are holding a meeting of the Alumni Association on Sunday, February 10, 2008, at the T.P.Road School at 4.00 pm.

On behalf of the Committee of the Alumni Association, I request you to participate in this meeting and in the glorious activities which are bound to follow.
